Over the centuries, East Asia has developed an extraordinary tea culture. Countless varieties of tea exist, each with its own character, delicate aroma, and unique brewing tradition.

It’s a world full of layers, subtle nuances, and new sensory experiences.

‘Raum für Tee’ is a small, intimate space where I host Tea Tastings and Classes featuring East Asian teas. It’s a quiet, relaxing environment where you can savor each sip slowly and mindfully.

Join me as we explore the rich flavors of these teas and deepen our understanding of their culture. I will guide you on a journey to uncover the intricate layers of aroma and taste in every cup.

  1. Tea Preview: Tasting Tea (1.5 hrs)

    We taste 5 different East Asian teas, exploring their authentic flavors and unique charm—or simply enjoying a beautiful cup of tea.

    Intro-price until July 2026 : 40 CHF 

  2. Tea Basics: Understanding Tea (3 × 2.5 hrs)
    A thorough introduction to tea and its culture: the six main tea categories, their aromas and flavor profiles, and how to prepare tea using traditional Asian teaware.
    Intro-price until July 2026 : 65 CHF  

   * You may choose to attend individual session separately.

  1. Focus Topics: A Deep Dive into Tea (2–2.5 hrs)
    Specialized tasting class on specific teas and topics, such as region, terroir, water, and teaware materials.
    Beginning September 2026

Do I need any prior experience to join? (Kann ich ohne Vorkenntnisse teilnehmen?)

No prior experience is needed to join any of our tea courses.

But if you’ve already taken our three Tee basics modules or have similar experience, you'll get even more out of our Focus Topics.

Wenn Sie jedoch bereits an den drei Modulen der Tee-Grundlagen teilgenommen haben oder über vergleichbare Kenntnisse verfügen, können Sie den Fokus-Themen noch besser folgen.

How can I register for the tea class? (Wie melde ich mich für den Teekurs an?)
  • You can easily sign up by clicking the 'Register' button. Your spot is confirmed once payment is complete, and we’ll send you a quick confirmation email right away.
  • If you prefer, you can also reach out to me via email, SMS, WhatsApp, or phone – I’d be happy to walk you through all the details personally.

  • Über den Button „Anmeldung“ können Sie sich ganz unkompliziert anmelden – Die Anmeldung erfolgt mit der Bezahlung. Danach bekommen Sie eine kurze Bestätigungs-E-Mail.

How does the payment work? (Wie funktioniert die Zahlung?)
  • We currently offer two payment methods: Credit Card and Prepayment (Vorkasse).
  • If you select Prepayment, a PDF containing the payment slip (transfer details) will appear. Alternatively, you can pay directly via TWINT to the provided number.
  • In these cases, please make sure to include your full name as the payment reference.

  • Wenn Sie Vorkasse wählen, öffnet sich ein PDF mit dem Einzahlungsschein (oder den Überweisungsdaten). Alternativ können Sie direkt per TWINT an die angegebene Nummer bezahlen.
  • Bitte geben Sie dabei unbedingt Ihren vollständigen Namen als Verwendungszweck an.

How can I reach the Tea Room? (Wie erreiche ich den Teeraum?)

Location & Directions The tea room is located in Zollikerberg.

  • On Foot: Approximately 5–7 minutes from the following stations: Zollikerberg (S18/B910), Trichtenhausern (B91), and Hasenbart (B91).

  • By Car: Ample visitor parking is available directly next to the building.

Once you have registered, I will send you the exact address and detailed directions.

  • Zu Fuss: ca. 5–7 Minuten von den Stationen Zollikerberg (S18/B910), Trichtenhausern (B91) und Hasenbart (B91)
  • Mit dem Auto: Direkt neben dem Gebäude stehen ausreichend Besucherparkplätze zur Verfügung.

Nach der Anmeldung schicke ich Ihnen die genaue Adresse und Anfahrtsbeschreibung.
